This project helps users find a dog breed that matches their preferences. By answering a short quiz about factors like training difficulty, lifespan, cost, grooming needs, suitability for children, and apartment (HDB) compatibility, users receive a personalized list of top three dog breeds. It’s a quick, fun way to discover the perfect furry companion.


Charting Design: A Data-Driven Snapshot of Asia's Design Industry in 2024 (Amrutha, Karis)

This visualisation project analyses the 2024 design industry landscape in Asia, focusing on salary transparency and working conditions. Using data from Design Pay Asia's survey, we uncover insights about the demographics of current designers, compensation patterns, and industry practices to help emerging designers make informed career decisions.


Dashboard to display on hospital improvement ideas by div/years (Sam)

Explore and visualize trends in idea submissions from 2013 to 2024, uncovering insights into organizational innovation patterns and efficiency. The analysis focuses on understanding the dynamics of idea generation, by department/div, type of ideas deposited and implementated within the organization.


Survey on the Historical Output of Characteristic Agricultural Products in Yunnan Province (Shaoying, Liaoliao)

Data visualisation was used to present, investigate and summarise the annual production of three types of speciality agricultural products, namely coffee, fresh cut flowers and mushrooms, as well as their distribution areas in Yunnan Province, China, for the time period approximately between 2016 and 2022.


Understanding Cultural Shifts in Dating Trends (Shravani, Swetha)

This project looks at how dating has changed over the years, thanks to technology and shifting cultural norms. It dives into trends like the rise of dating apps, how people connect differently, and the move from in-person chats to texting. Using visual data, it tells the story of how modern relationships have been reshaped by these changes.


Recommended popular attractions in Singapore (Tianchang, Yonglin, Hongmei)

In order to facilitate Chinese friends to introduce popular attractions in Singapore, we use data visualization to display the following attraction distribution and recommendation index, as well as attraction prices and other related information.


Number and Classification of Newly Registered Cars, 2016-2019 (Heping, Jianchi, Qiayue)

We will investigate the number of new car registrations in Singapore from 2016-2019 and categorise them by vehicle make, vehicle type, etc. We will use what we have learnt in this semester about charts, interactions, D3, etc., to show the viewer a more intuitive presentation of our analysis and results.


Musical Milestones: A Deep Dive into the Top Popular Songs In Spotify (Ruomiao, Keyu)

Our visualization project analyzes the most popular songs and artists on Spotify from 1950 to today. Interactive chart visuals and data insights show how music trends have evolved over the years. We explore the changing landscape of popular music and how music has evolved and shaped global culture.


Visualization Analysis of Global Higher Education Based on QS Rankings (Xuanyu, Huangzhe)

This project uses data from the QS World University Rankings 2025 to visually present the distribution of universities across countries/regions worldwide and compare the top 10 universities based on key indicators such as academic reputation and internationalization. Interactive visualizations help users quickly understand the current state and trends of global higher education.


Love and Population: Marriage and the Future in Singapore (Yirun, Junchen, Ruiyun)

This course is designed to focus on changing population dynamics and its social, economic and policy implications. Through a full-screen scrolling webpage, combined with dynamic charts and split-screen design, it presents key trends and challenges in population ageing, declining birth rates and urban dynamics in Singapore and the East Asia region.


Urban Lifestyle Data: Distribution of Early Birds vs Night Owls (Gejun, Zilei)

This project aims to study the distribution patterns of urban lifestyle characteristics, with a focus on analyzing the proportion of early risers and night owls in cities and their associated socioeconomic phenomena. By integrating data from selected cities in the Asia region, we explore the cultural, social, and economic drivers behind the rhythm of urban life and reveal how urbanization influences residents' work habits, consumption patterns, and daily lifestyles.


Singapore 2024 Resale Flat Data Visualization (Yanan, Ziye)

The visualization showcases the overall 2024 Singapore resale housing situation and analyzes the impact of different factors on resale prices. It uses D3 to create visual charts, including line charts, bar charts, choropleth maps, and treemaps, to present the data analysis clearly and intuitively.The original data comes from https://data.gov.sg.
